1. Nature of the Service

Kozor provides client-side post-quantum end-to-end encrypted messaging, encrypted voice communications, and a zero-knowledge credential and file vault.

2. User Responsibility & Key Custody

• Self-Custodial Keys: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your device, PIN, Master Passwords, and 24-word BIP-39 recovery secret.
• No Account Recovery: Because Kozor uses zero-knowledge cryptography and does not store user passwords or recovery keys, we cannot recover, reset, or restore access to your encrypted data if you lose your PIN and recovery keys.
• Backup Management: You are solely responsible for creating, storing, and securing any standalone .aegis backup files you export.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kozor only for lawful purposes in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:

• Disrupt, abuse, or launch denial-of-service attacks against our relay servers.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, capability tokens, or quota protections.
• Transmit spam, malware, or illicit payloads across the relay infrastructure.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Kozor is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kozor and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the service;
• Any loss of data due to forgotten PINs, lost recovery phrases, or device damage;
• Any temporary network disruptions or relay downtime.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
