🛡️ KOZOR

Account Deletion & Data Purge

Compliance & Instructions for Google Play & GDPR

🔑 Device-Controlled Cryptographic Identity

Kozor uses a decentralized, device-controlled identity model. We do not maintain a central database of accounts, usernames, phone numbers, or passwords. Your identity exists exclusively as a cryptographic key pair stored locally on your device in hardware-backed secure storage.

How to Delete Your Data and Account from Your Device

Because your identity and data are stored locally on your device, you can completely and permanently erase them at any time:

📱 Step-by-Step In-App Purge:

  1. Open the Kozor application on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Settings (gear icon) in the navigation bar.
  3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Tap Reset & Purge Database (or Emergency Database Shred).
  5. Confirm the prompt.

What happens immediately: All local cryptographic identity keys, session ratchets, conversation history, SQLCipher encrypted databases, and Vault credentials are cryptographically shredded and deleted from local storage.

⚠️ What Kozor Cannot Remotely Delete

Because Kozor operates under a Zero-Knowledge architecture, we cannot remotely delete:
• Standalone .aegis encrypted backup files stored by the user on USB drives, external disks, or personal cloud storage.
• Files, photos, or documents explicitly saved outside the Kozor app sandbox.
• Messages and media already received and stored locally on your conversation partners' devices.

External Deletion Request / Inquiries

If you no longer have access to your device, have uninstalled the app, or have questions regarding data purge, you can submit a request directly:
